Eligibility Criteria for VFA Training Course 2024
For admission Into the VFA Training Course 2024-25 Candidates must fulfil some Eligibility Criteria. Here are the Eligibility Criteria Details.
Candidates must be permanent residents of the State of Assam.
Educational Qualification: The minimum educational qualification required for admission is HSSLC (Science) passed with Biology as a Subject from the recognized University or Board.
Age Limit: Candidates should not be less than 18 years old and should not be more than 30 years of age as of 01/01/2024. The upper age limit is relaxable for the candidates of reserved categories as per existing provisions.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable as
- OBC/MOBC- 03 Years
- SC/ST(P)/ST(H)- 05 Years
Application Fee: For UR/OBC/MOBC Application fee is Rs.250/- and For SC/ST Application Fee is Rs.150/-. The fee is to be Paid Only Through Online.

Selection process of VFA Training Course Admission
The candidates whose applications are found complete in all respects and accepted online will be called for a personnel assessment test before the Selection Committee. The candidates will have to produce all original certificates and testimonials before the Selection Committee at the time of the personnel assessment test. The date of the personnel assessment test (PAT) will be notified in due course of time.
The eligible candidates will have to appear for a personnel assessment test before. selection committee to be held at the Office of the Director, Animal Husbandry&Veterinary, Assam, Chenikuthi, Guwahati-781003. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the Personnel Assessment Test. Canvassing either directly or indirectly will disqualify the candidate The list of eligible candidates will be uploaded to the Department’s website and also displayed in the Office Notice Board of the Directorate of A.H. & Veterinary Deptt., Guwahati-3.
