Eligibility Criteria for Assam Police SI Recruitment 2023
Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India, Permanent Resident of Assam.
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must register his/her name with a local Employment Exchange of Assam.
Age Limit:
- Hill Tribe Category: Candidate should not be more than 31 years and less than 20 years of age as
on 01-01-2023 including 5 years relaxation. (Candidate must be born on or before
01-01-2003 and on or after 01-01-1992).
- Other Posts: Candidate should not be more than 26 years and less than 20 years of age as
on 01-01-2023. (Candidate must be born on or before 01-01-2003 and on or
after 01-01-1997).
Age Relaxation: Upper age limit will be relaxed for:
- SC/ST(P)/ST(H): 5 (five) years
- OBC/MOBC: 3 (three) years
Educational Qualification: The candidate must be a graduate in Arts /Science/
Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College / Institutions affiliated to a
recognized University.
