Name of the Post: Assistant Account Officer (AAO)

No. of Posts: 61 Nos. [UR-31, OBC/MOBC-14, OBC/MOBC (Tea Tribe Adivasi Community)-3, SC-04, STP-06, STH-03]

Scale of Pay: PB-3 Rs.25,000 – 92,000/- with Grade pay of Rs.11000/-

Eligibility Criteria for AEGCL Recruitment 2024

Interested Candidates must fulfil some eligibility criteria for eligible to apply like Educational Qualifications and age Limits and Candidates need Some eligible documents.

Educational Qualification:

• The Candidate Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce from a recognized University with a minimum 55% marks or its equivalent in B.Com in aggregate or 55% marks in Honors/Major subject (B.Com) or a minimum 55% aggregate marks or its equivalent for Arts or Science graduate having Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subject or 55% marks or its equivalent in lVlathematicsiStatistics as Honors (BA/B.Sc)
• For departmental candidates and those belonging to the Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe minimum qualification mark in a bachelor’s degree is 50%.
• Possess proficiency in computer application and have a diploma certificate in computer application with a minimum duration of 3 (three) months.

Age Limit:

The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as of 01/01/2024. The Upper age limit is relaxable-

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST- 5 Years
• OBC/MOBC- 3 Years
• PwBD- 10 Years

Others

• Candidates must be citizens of India.
• The candidates must have a Valid Employment Exchange Certificate.
• Apart from English, the Candidate should have adequate knowledge of at least one official language of the state of Assam (i.e. Assamese/ Bengali/Bodo) except the candidate belonging to Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council.
• Candidates have to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form- A at the time of applying for the post.
